◼️SUMMARY: Prepare shop fabrication drawings in compliance with industry and company standards. Coordinate all project information. Determine quantities of all items to be built on a project.

◼️ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪️Prepare fabrication drawings for shop based on design, standards, and steel construction standards.

▪️Coordinate design, approved drawings, contract and architectural drawings while producing fabrication drawings.

▪️Prepare Erection Drawings (for the field to use to erect the building) with piece marks, erection instructions, and special details not already on drawings.

▪️Process RFI’s (Request for Information) and review final drawing and design to resolve unaddressed issues or missing information.

▪️Process work of high quality with minimal to no errors.

▪️Produce work to meet schedule requirements.

◼️EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

▪️High School diploma or equivalent is required.

▪️College mathematics major is preferred.

▪️Basic level of Windows, Autocad or Brickscad, Tekla and other software.

◼️LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to perform math at an advanced level. Basic trigonometry. Math majors or an emphasis in college mathematics is preferred.

◼️REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to reason logically in the performance of routine and non-routine duties. Critical thinking and problem solving ability. Self motivated, goal oriented.
